Ray Barbee’s distinct ‘90s color palette is displayed in the collaboration between him and Vans Vault. The collaboration’s take on the OG Old Skool LX incorporates a traditional silhouette with a suede upper and embroidered branding that reads the phrase ‘The joy is in capturing the journey,’ as a nod to the Leica camera that Ray Barbee loves. A branded checkerboard insole is placed to highlight the Vans aesthetic, while the raised red dots on the sole and red eyelets and lace aglets provide a shout-out to the minimalist Leica logo.
