In 2003, Vans launched an extension of their label into Vans Vault which would see the skateboarding classics reworked into contemporary colors and collections. Different facets such as art, street wear, and music would lend creative attribution to the premium Vault label and their coveted collaborations. In a sophisticated colorway, the OG Era LX gets Shale and deep Purple Velvet across the upper. Accented white stitching on dark colorways is always a plus.
