Constructed with leather, the shoe is made with hiking laces and a chunky/sturdy rubber sole. In 1989, the original design was made for outdoor use whereas the 2020 version reimagines the silhouette for the streetwear industry. Subtle branding can be found throughout the Nike black and dark smoke grey sneaker as well as a back strap for easy application.
