In an effort to become more sustainable, Nike has released many variants of beloved silhouettes with technologies that work towards their zero-waste and zero-carbon goal. The Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit implements these elements including a FlyKnit upper which reduces energy usage and contains recycled plastic bottles. Foam Crater is implemented throughout the sole and contains recycled material known as Nike Grind. The signature silhouette utilizes the latest sustainable version of Nike Air which provides the sneakers a responsive and cushioned experience with each step.
