NYC-based brand Barriers collides with Converse by drawing inspiration from The North Star, a 19th-century anti-slavery newspaper led by influential abolitionists. The Court Ready Cutter Short is composed of a blend of nylon and cotton and features Barriers stars printed at the front and at the rear zippered pockets. A Barriers logo is screen-printed at the rear, with embroidered imagery colliding with it. The wavy striped drawcord at the waistband and drawcord lock complete the silhouette.
